Pros

Salaries are high, annual leave allowance is good. Parental leave policy looks attractive (but employees tend to be young, single).

Cons

Toxic culture, everything is very transactional and employees are very much treated like a commodity and resource rather than human beings. No consideration is given to what employees want from their career at Revolut. KPIs are wildly unattainable and often not strategic or a good indicator of a person's ability to do a job. There is zero female representation on the board. The organisation is continuously battling significant regulatory challenges and audit issues, and frequently fall below par and miss deadlines. Revolut has a 'revolving door' of employees. Churn is incredibly high and no effort is made to retain talent.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your experience with us. We believe that clear KPIs help ensure that we all understand our goals and how we'll get there, but we know that they aren't the only indicator of your contribution. We admire people who live our values and support their colleagues in getting stuff done. Not only that, but we’re constantly looking to ensure that we support the people who enable us to create great products and support our customers. By intently listening to our employees, we've birthed new policies, such as new performance bonus (on top of existing scheme), new promotion philosophy, Birthday Leave, hybrid working arrangement, 60-day temporary working abroad flexibility, 2 extra wellbeing days, Team Engagement budgets or RevManager Hub. Revolut is absolutely committed to equal opportunities and we are keen to increase the diversity of our workforce at all levels. We are proud to employ people of more than 80 nationalities and we have targets and programmes to improve the proportion of women in our leadership. We don't have as many women as we'd like at senior levels yet but we're working to fix that. We're sorry if you aren't yet seeing those efforts. We’ve a fast-paced culture, so we appreciate that Revolut might not be the right place for everyone - but our people achieve a huge amount and have a lot of fun. Please make sure that you’re also airing your concerns internally through the available channels. Wishing you best.

Pros

Working at Revolut was one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Every day brought something new to learn, and I was trusted with meaningful work from the beginning. The pace is fast, but that's exactly what helped me develop my analytical thinking, decision-making, and financial crime investigation skills. I genuinely enjoyed working with my team, they were approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when needed. If you're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, taking ownership, and continuously learning, you'll appreciate the culture here. Looking back, I'm grateful for everything I learned during my time at Revolut.

Cons

The probation period can be quite challenging because the expectations are high from the start. There is a lot to learn in a relatively short period, and it can feel a little overwhelming initially. That said, once you adapt to the pace and understand the processes, it becomes much more manageable and rewarding.

Pros

Highly challenging culture that values your work

Cons

Not for everyone. There is a high bar in performance and all are expected to excel at work.
