Pros

1) Ok-ish salary based on the minimum salary in Romania| 2) 32 Holiday days 3) A lot of Training available

Cons

1) Toxic Work environment based on unreal KPI's 2) Performance Review every 3 months which makes you feel like you are on probation every 3 months never knowing how it's gonna be 3)Poor upper management 4)They would rather hire people who are not experienced in order to pay less than keep the quality people and pay them 5-15% more or even adapting the salary based on the inflation 5) Micro-managing to the moon 6)The majority of people who I've worked along with stated that within the 6 months of starting they already feel the burnout. 7)There is no such thing as a *Welcome package* for the people who work remotely and the additional equipment(2nd monitor/keyboard/mouse) is either never going to be delivered, either delivered broken either delivered after 7-10 months. 8)The career path is unreal and you can get stuck in a position if not in good terms with your TL and other upper management regardless of your performance| 9)Lack of transparency and team work(if team work is available everyone will be on their own scared to not say something wrong)

Hello, Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear about your negative experience and the concerns you've raised. We want to assure you that creating a positive and supportive culture is one of our top priorities. We strive to foster an environment where our employees can thrive, feel valued, and have a fulfilling experience. Revolut is known for its Never Settle and Get it Done values, which are two things that draw many people to the company, along with its fast-paced, innovative environment. We want to encourage people to thrive on these values, while also maintaining a healthy work/life balance, being aware of the signs of burnout, and looking after their own wellbeing. Our team is our most precious asset, and we never compromise on talent. We select, coach, and retain the top talent and give them all the support to achieve greatness. Our goals are discussed and agreed between line managers and employees, to make sure they’re exciting not only for the company, but for the Revoluter too. We believe that clear performance expectations help us all focus on the same priorities, and to direct teamwork effort where it's needed. Kind regards.

Pros

Working at Revolut was one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Every day brought something new to learn, and I was trusted with meaningful work from the beginning. The pace is fast, but that's exactly what helped me develop my analytical thinking, decision-making, and financial crime investigation skills. I genuinely enjoyed working with my team, they were approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when needed. If you're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, taking ownership, and continuously learning, you'll appreciate the culture here. Looking back, I'm grateful for everything I learned during my time at Revolut.

Cons

The probation period can be quite challenging because the expectations are high from the start. There is a lot to learn in a relatively short period, and it can feel a little overwhelming initially. That said, once you adapt to the pace and understand the processes, it becomes much more manageable and rewarding.
