Pros

- Good experience - Above market rate pay usually - Projects are genuinely interesting

Cons

The culture is uncompromising. If something is not done, it doesn't matter if it was someone else's fault, or someone took 2 weeks holiday, if it's your product you take the blame. Means you end up bringing that negativity to your direct reports because if they take holidays, you could end up on a performance review. Sometimes things don't get done for real reasons like sickness or personal life problems, but don't expect any sympathy from anyone because they're all having to make the same sacrifices. Breeds a negative kind of culture, but ultimately a lot is done and you will achieve a lot if you stay around.

Pros

Working at Revolut was one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Every day brought something new to learn, and I was trusted with meaningful work from the beginning. The pace is fast, but that's exactly what helped me develop my analytical thinking, decision-making, and financial crime investigation skills. I genuinely enjoyed working with my team, they were approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when needed. If you're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, taking ownership, and continuously learning, you'll appreciate the culture here. Looking back, I'm grateful for everything I learned during my time at Revolut.

Cons

The probation period can be quite challenging because the expectations are high from the start. There is a lot to learn in a relatively short period, and it can feel a little overwhelming initially. That said, once you adapt to the pace and understand the processes, it becomes much more manageable and rewarding.

Pros

Highly challenging culture that values your work

Cons

Not for everyone. There is a high bar in performance and all are expected to excel at work.
