Pros
Short term fix, they tend to overpay to influence outside candidates to join. This is great for monetary gain over a year or two. The operations team also is very helpful throughout the company.
Cons
Lack of functional leadership, minimal communication outside of a particular business unit. I have had 2 separate managers in 2.5 years and both were the two worst I've had in my entire career. This company seems to be functioning in a dying industry. Almost no organic growth, being that the core business strategy is to acquire successful businesses. Unfortunately they have a history of running those businesses into the ground. Currently in the midst of a 30-40 store closure across the USA. They do not give notice prior to swooping in and shutting the branch down.
