Pros
A case of free beer once every 3 months
Cons
Full transparency for what you’re looking for: salary is around 53k a year and sales incentives are $5 dollars a placement. You will be working like a dog living paycheck to paycheck. RUN FOR THE HILLS - don’t do it. No matter how desperate you are, DO NOT work for this company.… EXTREMELY toxic environment, management is atrocious & will suck the life out of you. You are essentially a front line call center outlet for pissed off customers to call and say whatever they want without consequence. There is zero support from management on these difficult calls and are nowhere to be found when you need assistance. Customers will call in and yell at you for things completely out of your control (local warehouses deciding delivery schedules and screwing over small businesses that can’t order in volume). Customers constantly frustrated asking “why they cant get deliveries more frequently” and you have no idea what to tell them because these decisions aren’t made by you. Despite this, you have to sit there and get reamed out; repeatedly telling the customers you will try to solve their problem by reaching out to the very people that screwed them over in the first place. You place orders for the customer and local teams will just cut the order without providing any further information. These customers call back in the next day, wondering why their order never came. Your days will consist of handling 100+ meaningless calls all of which are carefully recorded and monitored by management. Your talk time, break time, etc. are all tracked and ranked against your coworkers creating a grossly toxic environment You have to stay in the office till your shift is over regardless if you complete all your tasks. You get a 30 min lunch break which is essentially only 25 minutes, tracked and monitored. If you are efficient and get your work done, they will just assign you calls that other employees didn’t complete. Annual raises are .50 cents more an hour so be prepared to be underpaid living paycheck to paycheck with zero social life as long as you work here. Sales Incentives are also laughable: $5 a new placement if the customer hasn’t bought that product in 3 months (90 days). This place is an absolute joke. They make an absurd amount of money yet don’t pay their employees enough to make ends meet. You create millions of dollars in profit for them and they give you an occasional expired case of beer in return. Nothing you do is good enough for them so you might as well do the bare minimum cuz that’s what they’re paying you for. They don’t care about customers only distributing in mass amounts and $$$. If you have a shred of human decency, run far away from here because this division is going downhill fast.
