Pros

4 week max PTO which is pretty good for an entry level job. Free beer/coke products/merch/lunches (occasionally)

Cons

Upper management and supervisors are incompetent except a select few and I mean 1-2. Only one supervisor is actually dedicated to their role and can provide constructive feedback and advice. Upper management rolls their eyes when you express frustration or challenge them. They call out dress code violations while wearing the same “violations” the next day. Black adidas gym shoes are ok but slip-on vans like sneakers are a no-go? Just pick a stance and stick with it, don’t be a hypocrite. They call out shoe laces one day and tell women they should choose something nicer like high heels?? Excuse me?? They will pick out this review and say it’s one of few, but they’re ignorant if they think that I’m the only one feeling this way. Pay is absurdly low for the amount of work. We push out orders and make sales calls that generate hundreds of thousands of dollars, but we’re still worth $21-$25 an hour at most??? Then they hire new employees with less experience or no sales experience that make more money than you?! Why not reward the hard working employees that are earning you sales and taking extra responsibilities. When others take PTO, you are required to take over their responsibilities if they ask you. If you say no, it just raises frustrations through the office. DONT WORK HERE. ITS A BUNCH OF CORPORATE GARBAGE THAT WILL SUCK THE LIFE OUT OF YOU.

Pros

Selling iconic, top-shelf brands like Tito's Handmade Vodka, Jack Daniel's, and Woodford Reserve makes it easy to walk into any account with confidence. Customers already know and love these portfolios — you're not convincing anyone these brands belong on the shelf. The IT department is a standout. They make sure you leave the building every single day with a fully functioning iPhone and iPad, so there's zero friction getting into the field. It's a small thing that makes a big difference.

Cons

Where do I even start. Management is nowhere to be found when you actually need them, but somehow everybody and their brother has an opinion about how you should run your territory. The Reyes family? Meddling in day-to-day trade like they're riding shotgun on every sales call. Portfolio VPs showing up in accounts, stepping on deals, and creating chaos with buyers you've spent months building relationships with. There's no clear lane — just a revolving door of people undermining the reps closest to the business. And let's talk about the in-house portfolio cannibalism. Brands within the same house are being pitted against each other, which makes every buyer conversation needlessly complicated and puts reps in an impossible position. The tracking apps? Absolute garbage. Wonky, unreliable, and somehow still the tool you're expected to use to run your business. Then you've got suppliers like Gallo swooping in with demands ripped straight from a fantasy — completely detached from what's actually happening on the street. It's death by a thousand meddlers.
