Pros
Pay is much more reasonable than other universities compared to their costs of living. The student population is small so it is very easy to get IT assistance, help requests completed, finding parking, etc. Companies also love to recruit from Rice and our small student population size works in your favor when it comes to internship and job interviews.
Cons
On campus dining for grad students is lacking. There are strict hours and rules for graduate students whoh have meal plans. Non-meal plan options on campus are limited.
