Pros

It seems like a lot of the negative reviews are coming from the Indy Area. I have been heavily involved in 2 different areas over the last 10 years, and somewhat involved in passing over at least 8 different areas at Rieth-Riley. I think there is always some good and some bad in every company in the rank and file or labor/blue collar as well as management/white collar, but overall this company is really great to be a part of. It seems to me not realistic to expect multiple weeks of vacation and time off and less than 40 hours a week and weekends off and still get a great wage and employee ownership benefits/ great retirement like some of the reviewers seem to expect. You can't just have your cake and eat it too. You have to actually put in the work, but if you do. We will blow away all the competition and truly be a top place to work in all the industry. If you are good you will stick around. if you have an entitlement attitude you won't.

Cons

If you are not going to take full ownership and responsibility of your part of the company, then don't expect something for nothing (good retirement)

Pros

ESOP contribution is a nice retirement plan

Cons

Micromanagement within the offices, it's employee owned, but they don't give employees any autonomy
