Pros
The work we do with our candidates and clients is very rewarding. We get to help coach people through career transition, many of whom are hurt/angry/sad about their current situations, and turn it into a positive career transition for them. Many of our direct managers and co-workers are great to work with as well.
Cons
We are underpaid and underappreciated by Manpower leadership. When we were owned by Right Management only, we used to get raises, bonuses and more positive recognition overall. Since Manpower bought the company, they expect us to do more with less resources. We haven't had raises in 6 years and we feel like we are so underappreciated. The feedback they give is all talk and no action. I have never felt so unappreciated in any career. The only reason why I stay is for my candidates. Their gratitude and appreciation is what makes me not want to go elsewhere.
