Pros

- A handful of talented coworkers, though most are too busy putting out their own fires to lend a hand to anyone else. -Remote roles exist, but you’ll quickly find that “remote” also describes how connected you’ll feel to the team. Leadership shows no interest in addressing the dismal morale or the complete absence of culture.

Cons

- Work-life balance is nonexistent. Expect slacks, emails, and “urgent” messages at all hours nights, weekends, holidays, while you're on vacation or sick leave. The culture glorifies exhaustion. Burnout isn’t a risk here, it’s a rite of passage. - Extreme micromanagement from inexperienced middle managers who lack both the authority and the insight to support their teams effectively. Managers pride themselves on “transparent feedback,” yet somehow manage to belittle your efforts and deny raises when performance reviews roll around. - Every day is a gauntlet of product bugs and broken processes so frequent that a client without an issue feels like a rare event. An influx of overwhelmed, inexperienced new hires only compounds the growing chaos and decline in the quality of work. Customers are constantly frustrated and fault you for the issues. - This company gives “toxic culture” a whole new meaning. Leadership is a revolving door of underqualified managers who equate intimidation with leadership. They celebrate burnout as proof of dedication.

Pros

I have only been at Rippling for a month at this point, but so far so good! The onboarding and training are top tier. Definitely the best and most in depth training I have gotten at a company. My manager is great and was also an IC at Rippling for a couple years before moving into management which I really like because they understand what it is like to be an account manager here. There seems to be a lot of opportunity for career growth here. I am definitely excited to be here!

Cons

Not really a con but you HAVE to be self sufficient here. People are willing to help but they are also very busy so it might be a while before you get a response to a question. It was an adjustment at first but I think it makes you a better employee. If you need hand holding probably not the job for you. I don't really have any true cons yet, but ask me again in 6 months lol.
