Pros

- Extremely diverse company, many of the employees are fun to drink with after work - Very interesting problems to solve - A wide range of different types of customers - Good benefits - Great location in SF - Some really smart team members

Cons

- The company appears to change direction on a regular basis and it feels as though the company doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up (lack of strategic direction) - Extremely high turnover of employees, some in key positions - A significant amount of employees appear to be "coasting" and don't appear to have a vested interest in the success of the company (including some of the management) - For such a small company, nearly every group operates in a vacuum and if you aren't constantly asking what other departments are doing, you will never find out about it until weeks or even months later (if at all) - Extremely slow to execute, most problems are never solved and the only thing you can count on is that if something will take more than a month to complete, it will not be completed - Leadership is paralyzed by indecision, they also constantly contradict/overrule each other, hard decisions are rarely made - I feel sorry for people who work outside of SF. The communication in the office would be what one considers poor, for people outside of the office it is probably non-existent - Reviews on glassdoor are not representative of the company. Most reviews are from people that don't know better or aren't experienced enough to realize there are issues (as others have mentioned, there was an HR push for more reviews to offset the negative reviews) - Failures are never discussed or addressed, postmortems are unheard of, any deal losses or customers that don't renew are always someone outside of the companies fault and excuses are plentiful

Pros

The people at RiskIQ are great and truly want the best for you

Cons

The start-up culture was starting to die down when I was there leading to much less opportunity than a typical startup.
