Less hours allowed, same level of performance expected - Store Manager Rite Aid Employee Review

Pros

Some flexibility in prioritizing tasks, exponentially easier if you train your associates properly, decent vacation time, average compensation for hours worked.

Cons

Recent cuts in labor hours allowed with same level of performance and customer service expected. Stores are often run with 2 employees (manager and cashier), allowing for zero time to assist customers when needed. Directives change constantly (i.e. what is okay one week is not permitted the next week and is ever-changing). Little communication from the top on some important directives, so you end up looking ignorant when approached by an outside vendor regarding the issue in question.
