It's a job, pays well enough, stress is manageable, forever stuck in middle management. - Store Manager Rite Aid Employee Review

Pros

I do enjoy the Monday-Friday off by 5, which is a rarity in retail-land. There is a lot of flexibility and it's quite open-ended as to program execution.

Cons

It's a job in middle management for sure. Bosses come up with ideas at corporate and the ideas translate through the food chain to those of us who are expected to execute in the real world. It is a very one-way chain, all the ideas roll downhill and criticism or critique is not accepted, execute as drawn or else.
