Pros

They are a cool company to work for. There is always something new everyday and the customers and store teams make it fun. As with any management position, it comes with stress, but It's not too bad. The experience is invaluable, in my opinion. Everyone is helpful and willing to lend a hand, even from other stores, if needed. If you work hard and show that you mean business, you should have no problem with the position. Yearly raises, Flexible schedules, extra projects throughout the district. 401K matching after a year of service.

Cons

Vacation time - you get ONE WEEK after a year with the company, another week after five years. The benefits package is not very beneficial, very expensive with very little coverage. The company has been cutting payroll, making it difficult to create an effective schedule. The theft by customers is out of control. Managers are expected to be security guards and chase down thieves for a $1 candy bar or a $2 beer. I refuse to do that. Having to take back NYS bottle deposit returns is absolutely DISGUSTING.
