Pros

There is a lot of room for advancement in the company. You get a 20% employee discount on almost everything except prescriptions. If you like to stay busy at your job, this is a great company to work for. There is never any down time. There are tons of jobs and tasks to be done on a daily basis. In the union stores there are great benefits for even part-time workers - health, dental, and vision. Most managers are very flexible with working with your time-off requests.

Cons

There is a high turnover rate due to burnout form being overworked, stressed, and underpaid. Customer service is suppose to be your number one priority, but there is not enough employees in the store to spend time with the customers. It is usually only one manager and one cashier. It is so busy, and there are so many jobs to do that you feel like you are rushing each customer. Most of the time you feel like you're running around like a chicken with it's head chopped off.
