Pros
- It's not Walgreens/CVS - Best software
Cons
- Retail hell just like the other chains - One of the lowest paying companies for techs/assistants - Pharmacist pay also on the lower end. No raises either. - Corporate has extremely unrealistic expectations and is out of touch with reality. Becoming much more heavily metric-focused - No such thing as patient care anymore. Everything is about pushing scripts and immunizations to increase their bottom line. - No time for things like teaching patients how to use blood pressure cuffs or glucometers - Corporate looks for small ways to nickel and dime you as a manager/store - they will hound you on little things like carrying a little too much brand name inventory on hand or 1 person getting overtime and saying you're costing the company money and if 'everyone followed this protocol, the company could save over $100 million!!!' Yet corporate executives are the only people in the company that are still getting raises/bonuses and are paid the highest - Corporate lacks transparency in everything they do - Corporate will roll out new programs with no notice and then when bugs come up, tech support is non-existent. They want you to log a ServiceNow ticket for everything, but who has the time? - Corporate is absolutely abysmal when it comes to communication, planning and forward-thinking - There is absolutely NO sense of accountability in corporate. They just like to bounce emails back and forth saying so and so should be the person to reach out to. - Corporate is extremely reactive rather than being proactive. Often times it's far too late - Corporate does not listen to their employees or take our suggestions seriously - As a manager you will have minimal work/life balance. They expect you to be there for all inventory dates or store visits, whether you have PTO scheduled or not. But your divisional leader will always make up some excuse of why they cannot be there. - There was a recent Bloomberg article showing just how bad the financial outlook of this company is. They will be bankrupt in the near future if leadership does not get off it's butt and start moving in the right direction.
