it’s a good stepping stone if you’re trying to get experience in the psychiatric field.
Cons
- extreme turnover in staff due to poor management. - management does not care about staff safety so you’ll always be out of patient/staff ratio. - drama and rumors. all the time. animosity and hostility will drive you out the door alone. - most are only there for a paycheck and couldn’t care less about the patients mental well-being. - mediocre benefits - not paid near enough for the job being done - if you’re in the “inner circle”, you’re one of the favorites and don’t have anything said to you and get whatever you want and can do whatever you want.
