Riverbed participates in numerous events throughout the year to help increase diversity, particularly in regards to hiring more women within the Engineering departments. Some of the outreach we participate in annually is the Women In Technology events where we sponsor many of our female engineers to participate. Riverbed has established relationships with WomenHack, Girls in Tech and Fairygodboss, and are constantly hiring to increase diversity not only in Engineering but across the organization. Riverbed prides itself on how employees are treated so we are sorry to hear you felt co-worker interactions where not satisfactory to the level you expected. Lastly, in the US, we have implemented two full offices closings during the traditionally quiet periods of July 4th and Thanksgiving weeks. This provided US employees with valuable time-off to be free from work distractions and spend time with friends and family. The feedback from Riverbed’s staff has been overwhelmingly positive and staff have requested we continue the office closing periods for 2019. Employees always receive pay for this time off unless they elect otherwise. We believe in work-life balance and this is one of the ways we act upon this key company value.
