Pros

The employees are Ro are great and are there for the mission.

Cons

Ro sells it self as a patient centric model but really they are just a Men's Health Company. Every three months the business model changes. They acquired a Women's Health company and then deprioritized growing it (layoff 50% of the team!). The CEO of Ro lied and told everyone there would be no lay-offs with constant reassurance they were cash flow positive. This was then followed by an 18% layoff.

Hi there. We appreciate you sharing your feedback. Women’s health has been and will continue to be a priority at Ro. We have over 200,000 patients identifying as women who we are supporting for metabolic health, mental health, sexual health, and dermatology. We see a huge opportunity in fertility to become even more of a driver of that growth -- especially as we launch more products and services within fertility and more broadly within women’s health. We completely own and acknowledge that the message about layoffs shifted over the course of a few months -- and the honest answer was we were not contemplating cuts when the question was first asked and answered. But as market conditions continued to deteriorate over time, we unfortunately realized we needed to take more drastic measures to protect the business long term. The People Team is working diligently to support current and former Ro’ers through this difficult transition time. If you need additional resources or would like to discuss your feedback further, please reach out to people@ro.co.

Pros

The pay and ability to work remotely. Also they let you use a lab top which is nice.

Cons

Favoritism. I hit all my metrics and then some, 174% over and yet my contract was not extended and they would not provide one reason why other than their blanket corporate statement.
