Ro has a great mission and, from the outside looking in, seems to be promising. However, the reality is drastically different than what they try to sell you on. The tech debt is enormous and there doesn't seem to be any strategy or acknowledgment that we are completely lacking one. If you're looking for a place with great culture, a company that actively works towards its vision and mission, leadership that values diversity of thought and understands product development, and an environment that is psychologically safe and rewards employees who know how to live balanced lives, please look somewhere else. Ro is not your place. You will be very disappointed and most likely burn out. Every other day we hear of another resignation or someone getting pushed out. The entire experience has been unsettling. Although there are a few red flags, it's not until you immerse yourself that you realize how deep the issues run. Don't join a company that others are scrambling to leave.
