Pros
Benefits available day one, opportunities for training, wide range of skill sets accepted. Very clear management structure. Good people and generally understanding day to day management.
Cons
Advancement opportunities slow down significantly after a few years of employment. Almost required to be moving from department to department in order to progress. Pay and benefits are lagging behind other manufacturing companies in the area, and management is failing to react to this new development. Company that's been here a long time, and used to being a top employer. Can't understand why so many employees are now leaving for newer companies that have more to offer. The bureaucracy within the plant and from Germany makes change extremely slow.
