Pros

It was a very pleasant experience to work at Bosch Bursa. For part-time working students; the flexibility of remote work and working hours was top notch, it's probably among the top 1% in the world. You get almost all the benefits that full-time employees get. It's highly likely that you will be offered a full-time position, as long as you manage to graduate university in time and don't engage in egregious misbehavior. The people I've encountered among all teams have been very friendly. It's also the best company to work for in the Bursa industrial area.

Cons

Team did not have a "software culture". At every step, it was on my face that this was not a software company, but a team of software developers working for a special-machinery manufacturer. If you're looking for a state-of-the-art software team experience with best practices, this place is not for you. If you do get in, expect the comical amount of internal bureaucracy to delay the development your project by months upon months while you wait for approval from someone in Germany.

Pros

Work-life balance is great and getting an internship extended is very common.

Cons

Not on the cutting edge of tech at all and they seem to move slowly much like the rest of the auto industry.

Pros

Google work environment. Good people.

Cons

Our department suffered the cuts of automotive downturns and outsourcing work after department mergers. I would have stayed until retirement for another 10 or 15 years.
