Pros

Trainging is top notch, you are given every tool and resource to be successful, you are surrounded by some of the best Recruiters in the industry with lots of tenure and a history of repeated success. The management is very straight forward and outlines exactly what is expected of you and will ensure that you are guided to reach those goals. They will also demand that you work to achieve said goals and hold you accountable to the required efforts that it will take to meet or exceed these goals. The compensation and career growth is excellent and far better than any of the competitors in this space. This is certainly a pay for performance environment!

Cons

You will be asked to perform at a high level that will require constant effort. They look for people who want to be the best, beat the best, and be viewed as the best and will do whatever it takes to achieve these goals (within the ethical guidelines of business and while working in a team envirnoment). This is a high volume business, dealing with human capital which can be very volatile. Recruiting is a very competitive industry and requires strong minded business professionals to deal with the swings in the business. The rewards are well worth the effort as you achieve success though!

Pros

Success with other departments - just not in mine

Cons

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
