Pros

No cap on compensation Good support from management, for the most part Opportunity for advancement based on performance, not tenure 'You run your own business' model Fun, lively culture

Cons

You can work through several lifetimes at RHI, and they will let you. Taking vacation is only encouraged during winter months when workloads are light, and because CTO (choice time off) hours do not roll over. Workload varies greatly. Flow of job orders is highly inconsistent and the majority of requisitions are short term specialty roles with no better pay than than average (if not less) for the job. RHI seems to pick up the scraps and pay the worker the bare minimum they will accept to preserve their outrageous markups. 'Proactive' recruiting model difficult to market to candidates if you don't have a job to talk to them about. Not allowed to tell candidates hardly anything about a job until they meet with you in-person, fill out all paperwork and give references. Technology severely lagging. That's most of it, but I could go on.

Pros

Good comp plan. Good management. Expectations and standards are high but achievable.

Cons

Job is very fast-paced, but that is to be expected at a staffing agency

Pros

Success with other departments - just not in mine

Cons

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
