Pros
- Compensation. Fantastic if you can produce. You can and will make more here than you dreamed you could have. No ceiling - Training. Top notch. You will absolutely learn how to sell. - The people. For the most part, management and co-workers were fantastic. Many have become close friends. - The location and environment. Working in Downtown Detroit was actually quite enjoyable. Amazing to watch a city go from rock bottom and turn around. Facilities were very nice as well.
Cons
- Work/life balance. There is none. You will give everything you have and then some to work here. Management expects you to work on weekends, holidays and until Midnight in some specialized divisions. I worked New Years Eve, New Years Day, a week straight of midnights every 5 weeks. 60 hours weeks is the norm. Close to impossible to have a life outside of works. Have kids? Keep looking. - Culture. Should be a pro, but the culture is slowly becoming diluted. Name of the game is production, production, production. - Unable to take vacations without compensation being greatly affected.
