Pros
Was hired during the pandemic and was assured by all recruiters and TLs that we wouldn't be going into the office for more than a day per week after the pandemic. This offered an amazing work/life balance. Onboarding was smooth and easy.
Cons
Likely going back into the office full time for literally no reason other than to put butts in seats. Pay is atrocious. We were told by the VP of compensation that, "...we don't pay the highest because then we'd be overpaying..." while in the same sentence telling us that we were the best group at what we do. So we're the best, but we're not going to pay you. Weird flex, but ok... Senior leadership is woefully out of touch or it's aloofness by design and they're too afraid to share the real reasons of their decisions for fear of losing TMs at an accelerated pace. They ask for feedback but ignore it and make their own decisions likely based on ego and short-sightedness. As an example, literally no one is asking for or recommending hybrid training other than you, KimArie. Senior leadership routinely circumvents the ISMs they tell us to live by.
