Pros
- Fantastic benefits - Great coworkers - Some cool perks like free parking downtown, chances to win free sports tickets now and then, etc. - Awesome office environment - Opportunities to volunteer - Ability to learn many new valuable skills that you can carry with you to other roles
Cons
- Horrendous pay. Expect to make 20k under industry standard for your role. People will be hired in after you with less experience and make much more but your pay will never catch up to theirs. - Rampant misogyny - Younger employees are not taken seriously - Leadership doesn't appear to care about employee feedback - Not much opportunity for career growth - People who talk the loudest tend to be most successful - Leadership picks favorites and gives them better treatment/opportunities than other employees - Leadership will make you feel completely disposable/replaceable no matter how hard you work - Culture is like a cult of yes-men, those who actually try to live the ISMs will not last long.
