Pros

Amazing place to move up quickly and there is a direct relationship between your effort and quality of work and the rewards if you're smart enough. Real chance to make big impacts on a business level.

Cons

The best way to describe QL is to watch the movie Promise Land that Matt Damon made. From the outside, everything is unbelievably amazing. And even on the inside, it seems like such a great place to be and you see all the incredible things QL does for people and the city. And then you start to have some success and move up. And you start to see the inner workings. The obsession with optics in the press. The undercutting of people across emails with 100's of people on them describing in depth how stupid someone was and what the punishment should be. (Good luck underwriters). The way leadership immediately starts to tear apart anyone who leaves the company as someone who just didn't want to be "amazing". The quiet firing of anyone who doesn't immediately hit the standards or abide unquestionably by the "isms" of the company. All of these are things that define corporate America and make a ton of business sense...yet they're also things QL promises it's not. Just don't be fooled. QL is the definition of an American Corporation with the real business happening where team members don't see it. Stay low enough on the totem pole, and this will remain one of the best places in the world to have a job.

Pros

Health Benefits; Remote Availability; Base Salary

Cons

Leadership is lost, Heather Lovier at the helm is driving banking force to the ground. Many bankers going on leave and quitting. Constant change in comp plan for the worse in a difficult rate environment with high inflation in the economy is a recipe for disaster. Team leaders are scared of their own shadows, no say in direction while upper leadership stare at spreadsheets to make decisions instead of having a real pulse on what’s really happening on the front line. Banker morale at an all time low.
