Pros
Intelligent coworkers, not very many "egos" and good ideas are valued way more than titles. Close-knit engineering group, despite being a massive company. Fun environment as a result. Lots of projects. Both innovative work as well as more "chill" stuff to work on. Many opportunities for however you want to work. Decent compensation. Unlimited sick time. Flexible hours and work from home time, depending on your manager. Took COVID-19 seriously, as well. Management is actually caring and recognizes talent.
Cons
Management and process can often be very inflexible. Have to often work around them. The "agile" software development process isn't very agile. Slow to change. Can be difficult to get lead engineers on board with newer ideas and concepts, but this is also due to limitations with working on industrial automation software. Having so many engineers and teams means that you'll sometimes people work against each other. Communication and collaboration at massive scale isn't as smooth.
