Pros

I love the actual work I do and have met some really great people along the way.

Cons

While Roers Companies may say they have commitment to employee’s growth and a positive work environment, my experience has been far from ideal. The leadership team seems disconnected from the day-to-day realities faced by site employees. The culture is heavily influenced by personal relationships, making it difficult for those who aren't a part of the inner circle to thrive. The inconsistency between the treatment of corporate and site employees is particularly glaring. Corporate employees enjoy lavish perks like stocked kitchens, catered lunches, and happy hours, while site employees are treated to occasional pizza party. This inequity creates a sense of resentment and undermines morale. Despite the company's claims of fostering growth, career advancement seems to be primarily determined by one's ability to close/friendly with corporate employees. Concerns raised about sensitive issues are often met with indifference, and positive feedback is scarce, even for top performers. Ownership mindset is heavily pushed as a core value, but when you take initiative, you will be discouraged. This contradiction between the company’s values and its actions is disheartening.

Pros

Strong leadership, lots of opportunity for growth, bright futures! There are a lot of really fun things happening at Roers

Cons

The company is maturing and growing rapidly so that does mean a lot of change. You have to be prepared for that.
