Pros

The magenta logo and F1 sponsorship

Cons

Have you seen the movie Get Out? People who stay at Rokt longer than a year have the same glassy-eyed, dead inside look. Husband and wife run the company, husband of wife's best friend is the CRO. Any external leaders hired into the company do not last b/c the husband and wife rule with an iron fist. They are literally a textbook in horrible management and toxic behavior, they pick favorites and promote them across the company, they weaponize employee surveys to suit their needs. They have absolute and blatant disregard for any opinions outside of their own. They are monitoring how often employees come into the office and how long they are at computers. There is zero trust in the employee base. Dissent is silenced, individuals are pitted against each other. Crying in phone rooms is the norm. I could go on. Oh and they are afraid to articulate what they actually do b/c they know that consumers hate pop up ads (read the website, its all jargon none of it makes sense).

Pros

Rokt is the kind of place where you can grow fast if you're willing to put in the work. I've built my way up to senior leadership over my time here, that kind of trajectory doesn't happen without real investment from the company in its people. The work is genuinely complex and interesting: you're sitting at the intersection of technology, commercial strategy, and some of the biggest brands in the world. The caliber of teammates has been consistently high, and the culture pushes you to think bigger and challenge yourself. There's also a real emphasis on building leaders from within, which I've benefited from directly and tried to pay forward with my own team.

Cons

Fast growth means things move quickly and priorities can shift. If you need a lot of structure or predictability, it can feel like a lot. Ambiguity is part of the job, and not everyone thrives in that environment.
