Pros
- EVERYONE is nice to work with; there truly are NO JERKS and, in fact, senior management has shown repeatedly that they won't keep anyone who behaves like a jerk. So it is and will continue to be a wonderful team of people. - We get to think about and deal with interesting issues. We're revolutionizing how a multi-TRILLION dollar asset class is bought, sold and managed. So there's no shortage of interesting work to tackle. - Not only is everyone nice, but fortunately the team also consists of people who are bright and capable. Solid, high caliber folks. People who can get stuff done effectively. - The work environment is fantastic, in part because there are cute dogs lounging around the place. Plus, there is good food and beverages in the kitchen. And we get to wear comfy clothes. - It's particularly fun to work at a company like Roofstock that is getting enormous traction. Such a fun ride. It's what every tech worker seeks. - Along the same lines, it's nice to work at a company like Roofstock that is well-funded. It provides additional stability and perks. - Last but not least, the managers are excellent. No matter who you report to - you're going to have a good manager at Roofstock.
Cons
- The ONLY downside for me is that I have a long commute (since Roofstock is located in Oakland and I live in a different part of the SF Bay Area). BUT it's worth it.
