international company may get to travel internationally

Cons

Low pay, no raises, layoffs, lots of internal politics, glory days are behind it, the French have no idea how to run an American business but yet are too arrogant to admit it, company is going broke, they are trying to fix it but they dont have a reputation for making good decisions or being able to change fast. Everything is secret, there is no job security, and ultimately the company will be bought or go out of business. 15% was just laid off with no warning. Remaining employees would be smart to put their future in their own hands and find other employment instead of showing up to no job one day.

Very family driven and can be very flexible with WFH options as well as putting home life first. Also great opportunity to move horizontally if you want to try something new

Great products prior to entering soluble fiber and protein. Dominated the confectionery space, literally untouchable for very good reasons. Very differentiated corn syrups, syrup solids and maltodextrin. Very knowledgeable team in France, capable of solving any challenge. Mastered use of their ingredients in pharma, food and industry.

Cons

Company got lost with the challenges in fiber and protein. HQ team does not like bad news or to be challenged on ideas. Canada plant came online when pea protein market imploded. Many talented and capable employees left. Unprofessional behaviors go unchecked.
