Pros

If you want to be an operator that with little to no expectations, this is the place to be. Management will ignore the bad workers, acknowledge an alarm and go back to sleep... no problem. Don't do a MTL... no problem. If you see a job posting don't worry about the responsibilities listed in it, they aren't enforced.

Cons

If you are a hard worker, avoid this place. You will find that you are only working hard so others can sleep in the control room with less alarms going off.

Very family driven and can be very flexible with WFH options as well as putting home life first. Also great opportunity to move horizontally if you want to try something new

Great products prior to entering soluble fiber and protein. Dominated the confectionery space, literally untouchable for very good reasons. Very differentiated corn syrups, syrup solids and maltodextrin. Very knowledgeable team in France, capable of solving any challenge. Mastered use of their ingredients in pharma, food and industry.

Cons

Company got lost with the challenges in fiber and protein. HQ team does not like bad news or to be challenged on ideas. Canada plant came online when pea protein market imploded. Many talented and capable employees left. Unprofessional behaviors go unchecked.
