Pros

20% discount - and ZD leadership

Cons

This company is a sweat shop - after two plus years with the company it's evident they will continue to overworked their employees without a clear direction. Bottom line is profit for shareholders, disregarding the fair treatment of their employees. Every week the message to stores is to control payroll, when stores are understaffed and receiving an increasing amount of merchandise. We all feel the pressure without any TRUE support from Corporate. Let's make the CEO richer while exploiting the minimum wage employes - capitalism at its best to say the least! Don't work here - find another opportunity with another company, or better yet consider start your own business.

Pros

All of my coworkers were wonderful. No high school drama. Boss was flexible and understanding, although he always liked it if you said you could work more hours. The employee discount is pretty awesome. The work wasn't bad and rude customers were rare.

Cons

There was pressure to come in even when you were sick. Pay wasn't the greatest; it usually stayed ahead of minimum wage, but by no means kept up with inflation. Visits from corporate often meant a new change in procedures that had been working and demands that were somewhat unreasonable given the constraints of the layout or number of employees available.
