Pros

Great Associates who work very hard. Nice bonus amounts but sometimes not worth your health!

Cons

NO work life balance. Goals set to high for store level creating poor moral. Senior management turns head at what is really going on out in the field. DM's asked to work weekends and not compensated for the time. Work load is impossible to keep up with creating a poor moral for all. Senior field management has no problem embarrassing management team or DM's in public setting. They call it teaching LOL. No organization with work load at DM level creating a feeling of stress and lack of accomplishment. Only way to accomplish everything is to work day and night. I have never experienced the amount of roll ups and redundant request in any other company. I have never worked for a company with such a high level of Micro Management. The results of this practice erodes the DM's sense of confidence.

Pros

All of my coworkers were wonderful. No high school drama. Boss was flexible and understanding, although he always liked it if you said you could work more hours. The employee discount is pretty awesome. The work wasn't bad and rude customers were rare.

Cons

There was pressure to come in even when you were sick. Pay wasn't the greatest; it usually stayed ahead of minimum wage, but by no means kept up with inflation. Visits from corporate often meant a new change in procedures that had been working and demands that were somewhat unreasonable given the constraints of the layout or number of employees available.
