Pros
Minimal pros besides that you will have a consistent paycheck, albeit lower than market standards.
Cons
-Grossly underpaid compared to direct competition. Raises are minimal even after not receiving bonuses. Employees are financially struggling and the company does not care to help with our salaries and livelihoods. -No flexibility. We are forced to come into the office Monday-Thursday to get business back on track, when the real issues stem from our senior leadership and CEO, who all fail to take accountability for their poor decision making and micromanagement. -Office is in poor shape, employees feel uncomfortable and accommodations are bare bones. Employees sit in broken chairs, desks are dirty, printers have issues and there aren’t enough conference rooms for private conversations. -CEO is not a valuable leader and does not motivate her team to excel, only focuses on protecting upper management and their wallets. -Merchants are blamed for poor Assistant Buyer talent when the reality is that HR is unable to hire strong talent due to poor market reputation. -Minimal transparency from management regarding business, career paths, HR, etc. -Employees thoughts, feelings and business ideas are never heard. -Outdated technology. -Lack of resources for buyers to run their business. -Asks for our opinions to check off a box, but no resolutions ever come into place. In fact, the opposite happens such as Mondays in the office. -Leans on past performance and bonuses to keep people around, when future performance is never guaranteed to then receive said bonus and salary. -Morale at an all time low which js discouraging because this was a decent place to work before.
