Corporate is very disconnected from its retail employees - Lead Retail Associate Rothy’s Employee Review

The corporate side has no care or knowledge of what the retail stores are like, micro-managing, low pay with a strict structure that inhibits performance-based raises. Incredibly physical job as well. The shoes are not supportive for standing on hard floors for 8 hours a day. Myself and all of my coworkers acquired foot and back pain. We asked for a rug to help with our pain, but corporate denied us. We started sitting down when the store was slow, but we were also taken to task for that. It became very hard to lie to customers about the comfort of the shoes when half of us developed plantar fasciitis.
