Pros

Big name, full bennies, 401k after 6 months with match.

Cons

They promise you the moon and deliver nothing. 12 week apprenticeship pays $17 per hour turned into 16 weeks, then told me they couldn't advance me to my truck because they don't have the equipment, so just stay in training a few more weeks at $17 per hour. I'm not even sure if that is legal. The largest plumbing company in the US and they can't maintain an adequate supply of equipment? They have a company policy that you cannot solder anything must use pro-press to fit pipes, but then don't supply you with a $1500 pro-press, but they will show you an empty pro-press box and say you'll be getting one of these when you finish your training . Not sure if that's legal either. I would not waste my time with them. They just use you as cheap slave labor and tell you that Jesus is coming soon, the check is in the mail. and I won't... well, you get the idea. Also while I was there my trainer quit and got a real job. The General Manager, and Assistant Manager both left, and the third man in charge was demoted to a camera man. What a joke!

Pros

Dispatch from home Reimbursed for mileage

Cons

Slow, and you are reliant on the quality of leads in which dispatch sends you. At the end of my experience, had only had anyone from 1-3 leads in my entire twelve hour shift. Meanwhile, you will be held accountable to unreasistic expectations - even when it is slow (lack of empathy and understanding from leadership).
