Pros
- Good people to work with when I was at the company. My boss was very helpful in teaching me what I needed to know to do my job well.
Cons
- Upper management expectations are unreasonable. They set tight deadlines for quarterly plan report (QPR) forecasting & budgeting. When I was there, you also had to do half year and end of year forecasting in addition to the regular quarterly deliverables. This seemed unnecessary. There were some days where I had to work 16 hours to meet deadlines. - Old and inefficient ERP system. It is called MTMS which was invented in the 1970's and they were still using it to get by when I was there. Data outputs had to be reformatted & normalized in excel before you could analyze. - High turnover because of tight deadlines and unreasonable deliverables. Most people I worked with left the company in the last three years. Even the CEO didn't last long. -Cheap company. I was hired as a Senior Accountant but the role was actually a Controller position. They hired me at a lower job title to save money instead of hiring a Controller at a higher salary.
