Pros
Virtually all employees, management included, are extremely pleasant to work with, and our product is excellent.
Cons
The massive load of stress and responsibilities that come with a promotion to a management position does not constitute the pithy pay raise that comes with it. The oven and some refrigeration units are essentially on life support and are prone to occasionally malfunction, causing a much more stressful working environment. Employees will call in often and unexpectedly, including the general manager, forcing the staff to either scramble to find a replacement on short notice or remain disastrously short-staffed for the rest of the day, making small panics a regular occurrence. Competent as the general manager may be, their behavior and repeated absence is suspect and indicative of substance abuse, and is a detriment to the operation.
