Pros

Potential to work from home, if they keep you long enough.

Cons

Never before have I been gaslighted by a company like this. I worked there for three weeks (technically 2 1/2 because I had to take some days off to deal with flooding in my home) and was randomly called into HR 3/4 of the way through the first day of week four for them to tell me they didn’t feel I exemplified their core value of positivity. They refused to give me any concrete reasons or examples, hadn’t given me any prior warning or indication that they didn’t think things were going to work out, and just let me go out of the blue. In addition, their trainer was constantly telling me I made errors even when I had the proof to back up the fact that I did not make the mistakes she said I made. Also, they make you share desks with people because they are out of room in the office. My desk mate, from a different department, removed all (5) of my items from the desk, claiming they were in her way. Her manager told me to let her know if this girl was giving me problems and said she would handle it, and several hours after telling that manager I was still having problems, I was the one who was out of a job (where they claimed I didn’t fit with the core values). They come across as so nice and understanding, and such a great place to work, but in my experience, they will throw you under the bus at the drop of a hat without giving you any chance to correct problems that they don’t even make you aware that they feel you are having. They say they have your back and then they turn around and stab you in it.

Pros

I’ve been working at Roundstone Insurance for 8 months, and it has been an amazing experience! The company culture is truly something special. Managers and executives genuinely listen and welcome feedback, which creates a supportive and empowering environment. I especially love Roundstone’s CORE values: Live Well, Work Smarter, Own It, and Be Intellectually Curious. These aren’t just words—they’re actively reflected in how we work and grow as a team. One of the most unique things about Roundstone is the monthly meetings with the Owners, where open dialogue and transparency are encouraged. It’s refreshing to be part of an organization that values both its people and continuous improvement. I’m proud to be here!

Cons

I do not have any Cons.

Pros

Compensation is generally good but money doesn’t buy happiness.

Cons

Category ratings don’t lie - culture and senior management is a big problem. They always have been and will continue to be.
