Let’s start from the bottom up and address your statement that Roush pays low salaries and has poor benefit packages. While you feel our wages are below average, our HR department and executive team constantly analyze market data to ensure that we are providing our employees fair and competitive wages and our total compensation package aligns with others in the industries we serve. Our total compensation package has in fact increased, as the company has recently taken on a greater burden of rapidly increasing health care costs to ensure that employees’ out-of-pocket expenses remain affordable. And, as you know, we have also increased the amount the company pays into participating employees’ 401K accounts. As to merit increases, we did not announce that we were not paying merit increases; we said they would be delayed. With the current uncertainty in worldwide financial markets and our largest customers proceeding very cautiously with 2023 program activities, it is fiscally sound for us to analyze first quarter performance before making those calculations. Employees are always encouraged to talk to their supervisors if you feel your performance is being overlooked or if you have concerns about compensation.
