Pros
Extremely interesting and diverse projects. Most of the other staff are easy to work with and everybody wants to see you succeed. Great traditional environmental consulting firm.
Cons
Not a great work-life balance, average/sub average pay if you count additional overtime, minimal PTO, engineering support/development severely lacking, doesn't seem like management actually wants to change. Didn't seem like any extra work and responsibility that I took on was appreciated by upper management. Bonuses were nice, but it did not fix any of the underlying issues. CEO stresses profit over pretty much anything else. I stayed for so long because of some of the great people I had the pleasure of working with. I really didn't want to leave, but I felt that it was no longer helping my career.
