Pros

Coworkers are awesome and supportive. Younger workforce overall but plenty of experienced SMEs to give advice. Lots of social events. Flexible with remote/hybrid schedules. Branch locations all over the country and internationally - seem to be amenable to transfers. Decent onboarding and training process for new engineers from college that takes a couple months. Variety of divisions to choose from in different industries (water treatment, consumer goods, oil/gas, metals, paper, etc.) for a healthy mix of work. The balanced portfolio seems to lead to healthy growth and profits. Not known for layoffs.

Cons

Quality of work ebbs and flows. They have trouble filling your time with interesting work that matches your skillset. They will ask you to travel a lot but are accommodating of your schedule if you are firm.

Pros

Good compensation at least for the Cleveland area. Great people and interesting work. The one thing Rovisys had in spades was a good friendly culture. You get to learn a lot of you are willing, and the technical experience I gained here has helped me immensely.

Cons

Work ethic wasn't always there depending on who you were staffed with on projects. I was fortunate to have good managers, but not everyone I started with was as fortunate. There was also a lot of travel at least for the controls engineers.
