Pros
- Opportunities for advancement into leadership positions - Cash incentives to pick up extra shifts - All the employees at royal are very driven and work hard to pursue their goals. They take their jobs seriously and give it their best. They are all also very nice, social and easy to get along with. You will definitely be making some close friends here. - Management is very nice and understanding. They will work around your schedule if you have school or other committments. - Pretty easy to get days off - We run alot of Code 2 emergencies (as opposed to alot of other BLS companies that only do Code 1 nonemergency discharges and interfacility transfers. Those get VERY dully, very fast)
Cons
Be prepared to work. At the time of this review, they have a lot of contracts so they get run pretty good. This is good if you want as much experience as possible before moving on to medic school, PA, nursing, etc. Bad if you are lazy.
