Pros
Executive leadership is very generous and caring, genuinely interested in the well-being of their employees. One time another employee's car broke down and the CEO offered to let her borrow one of the supervisor vehicles until she could get her car fixed. They also go out of their way to help employee's family members with medical care when possible, which is very generous. There is very much a culture of family and community, with lots of food/gifts brought in and shared among employees. Majority of employees readily go above and beyond to help each other out which makes for a reassuring work environment knowing that your teammates have your back.
Cons
Growing company means growing pains, such as inadequate staffing or equipment. There were times when we were definitely overworked to the breaking point and it would have been better if management had been more attuned to that potential problem. Some department heads lack leadership skills, are incompetent at the tasks they're supposed to supervise, and sometimes show a disregard for rules and regulations. Some of the middle management displayed favoritism (Friendsgiving vacation?), which creates a culture of distrust which is not healthy.
