Pros
Great coworkers, easy work, good first EMT experience
Cons
Management, operations, supervisors, anyone who is in a higher up position are making HUGE mistakes with who they’re keeping around. They have fired multiple GREAT emts (great w/ patient care, great partners, great overall) for bs excuses like “too many tardies” “too many call outs”. Our scheduler is not organized and messes up our pto and we get punished for it. We’ve brought it up to higher ups multiple times- nothings changed w/ her. To make things WORSE they have this HORRIBLE program called “jumpstart” that has only produced 2 good emts out of the countless that have come out of that program. The kids that come out of jumpstart are usually super immature, HORRIBLE with patient care, and overall some of the most annoying individuals you could ever meet (this is a big deal considering you have to be on shift with them for 10hrs). They keep firing GOOD emts to make room for these HORRIBLE jumpstarters.
