      Schedulers will work with you but they are understaffed, so you gotta advocate for yourself Some events work (UCB football, etc)

      Pros

      Good way to get basic EMT experience. Able to expand on that doing CCT or ALS transfers with medics and nurses. Good place to start a career in EMS or healthcare if you use it as a platform to jump from. The good news is they embrace this.

      Cons

      Basic IFT transports. Usually nothing too crazy can let your skills go soft.
