Thank you for taking the time to write your thoughts. We are sad that you feel our owners care more about profit than employees and we are trying to reflect on any actions that would have caused you to think this way. As a family owned local business, we operate on a very thin profit margin and our first priority with profits is making sure that our employees have a steady income with a generous benefits package. We do things like company BBQs to give employees a chance to interact with upper management and show our appreciation. If there are additional specific details about your experience with us you would like to share, we would enjoy hearing it - you can reach our General Manager and owners direct at feedback@royaltucson.com. Thank you for your time with us and we wish you the best on your future career path.

Pros

- Biggest pro is being non-commissioned sales, takes the pressure away from the customer and the salesperson. Car salesmen are typically regarded as trying to take advantage of the customer to get more commissions, you take that away and it really changes the environment. - The managers I had the pleasure of working with wanted you to get better and better, and they were willing to help as long as you were willing to put the effort. - I was 21 when I got the job, youngest sales consultant at the time, making a pretty decent salary. Plus, I got to learn a lot about the industry whilst gaining sales experience.

Cons

- Long hour days are not uncommon. You might be scheduled to leave at 4:30 and end up staying until the end of the day. BUT, it meant you had a customer, and you were doing business, so it is not necessarily a bad thing. Unless you have other commitments, or you really don't like to stay longer than scheduled, that could be the only issue. - Sometimes there was pressure, as in any other business, to work harder. But if you were doing what your managers and team leaders constantly suggest, you should not have a problem keeping a healthy pipeline of customers.
